Will I stain my sofa if I use baking soda and peroxide to clean up pet stains?

I have a dark colored sofa that my cat started urinating on after I received it. Apparently the people that owned it first also had a cat that did the same thing so she was remarking.
After I broke her of this habit, had her spayed, and got her to use the litter box again I was left with a rather smell sofa. I was told to clean it up with some vinegar, blot it up and let it dry, then work in some baking soda and drizzle a little peroxide on it.

Peroxide, in a much stronger solution than you can find at the drugstore, and a catalyst is in one of the commercial stain removing products I use. I also have an upholstery "odor and stain remover" that is sodium percarbonate, (the same ingredient in Oxi-clean, Stain Solver, et. al) that when added to water, generates hydrogen peroxide in large doses. These are safe for most fabrics, delicate natural fabrics being the most common exception.

The technique is to try it out in an obscure area _before_ dumping front and center on your cushions.
