How to help a dog over a traumatic experience?

A few months ago, I was walking my dog when we saw a car accident. Era strong, with screeching brakes, crunching metal and impact. Since then, my dog is stretched around the car approaching. Sometimes not even leave the front of our house. What I can do to help overcome this traumatic experience?

desensitzation noise ..... used to help the dogs who hate loud noises, such such as fireworks, etc, can get a CD and DVD to explain how to use it, usually Veterinarians details ... Ask your veterinarian or search the Web. How it works: reading CD or DVD the context in which they put your dog in an initial volume is low. then over time increase the volume, futures, your dog gets used to the noise and sounds. also contact a local dog trainer.
