How do you get City of Heroes 'Angel Wings'?

I know that you get then for being a 15 month vet but I've seen level 2 people hop around with the angel wings. I've read that you can get them when you create your character or visit a tailor but I haven't had any luck finding them. What category would they be in?

There are now three ways of getting wings.

1. The 15-month vet reward is wings. You have the option of either a leathery sort of DEMON wing (smaller than DRACONIC wings, but larger than BAT wings), or a feathery sort of ANGEL wing. Vet wings are available at character creation, and any time later by visiting a tailor(it's under BACK options).

2. In those cases where recipe drops are possible (critter kills, mission/taskforce completion) one possible recipe type is WINGS. This recipe functions the same as any recipe drop, with the additional limitations of all other costume recipes (namely, that they cannot be crafted on one character and THEN given/sold/transferred to another character. They are permanently enabled on whatever character crafts them). Of this costume recipe type of wing, there are several styles: bat, draconic, cherub, fairy, insect, burned, bone. The cherub wing is feathered, but small. For this type of wing only, you may bid on them at Wentworths and/or the Black Market to purchase them from another player. Then you would acquire the salvage necessary and craft them at any invention table. After crafting, that character will have access to them at any tailor/facemaker.

3. The Mac version of the game comes with a stylized kind of feathered wing. That is a costume option which can only be accessed by making either an initial or additional purchase of the Mac product OR Mac bonus pack.

Please note that none of these enable flight AT ALL. They are cosmetic ONLY.
