what is a raid card and how do you use it?
I have a Raid card and I'm not for sure what that is?
You can use 2 hardrives together.
Either Raid configuration 0 where you write across both drives at once. Hardrives have moving parts which make them the slowest link in your computer but by using 2 different drives as 1 you double the speed. You also double the available cache.
Or Raid 1 where you write the same data onto each drive as a hard disk backup of your entire drive. This wouldn't give you a performance boost but would provide a pretty reliable backup method.
