What is a tuner in you TV? Is it the same as the circuit board?
I am getting my TV fixed and I think they are ripping me off. The cable jack broke off with a tiny little piece of the green circuit board attached to it. They said they had to replace the tuner and they are waiting on a price for that.
its the piece that you plug the cable into. if the board is broke also like you said, then it'll be more expencive than soldering just the tuner piece on. my husband is self employed tv repairman. give your model number and i can get you an estiment on the tuner board. i dont know why they would have to wait on a price if they even have decent resources (a computer!)
