Number CPU Linux Fedora 9 on VirtualBox?
I have a host operating system Windows Vista Business 64-bit with 4G of RAM and a processor Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T9400. So I tried Fedora 9 Linux x86_64 virtual machine, but it says my CPU is i686 is not compatible. But Intel Centrino 2 should be 64 capable. Why does not this work?
It is quite correct. The virtual processor tried to use Fedora 9 * * It is a i686, and is not compatible. They would not install Fedora in their physical processor, but the processor creates virtual virtualbox. Note that the 64-bit build VirtualBox will not help.
