I I know that if you have a MEM card into your digital camera you can use recovery software to recover it. But doing so, the software can not find my hard drive. And when you look at the "My Computer", it lists the camera as a portable device, not a player. I know that you should not take pictures until you get older. But digital cameras are like memory cards? Where is this information stored? Is it stored or disposed of permanently?

You should be able to click on the icon of the camera and open and view your photos, if they are there.
